Environmental Graphics
A series of illuminated lightboxes and environmental graphics were developed for the NBA basketball court installation at BRED Festival.
The visuals draw inspiration from traditional clothing patterns found across the Gulf, beginning with their simplest geometric forms. Through the study of embroidery, folding techniques, and ornamentation, these elements were fragmented and reinterpreted into a contemporary graphic system.
The illuminated lightboxes celebrate the exchange between tradition and contemporary street culture, creating a bold visual backdrop for the games and surrounding activations at the festival.
